A Little About Me:

My name is Aimee and I am a homeschooling mom in Arlington, Texas. This is my first attempt at a blog. I have several friends who blog so I have finally decided to give it a try.

My kids are 6 and almost 11. I have homeschooled my 11 year old son, Nathan since Kindergarten. He is now in 6th grade. My daughter, Claire is in Kindergarten this year and I homeschool her as well. They both have completely different learning styles so all of those things I did with Nathan don't really work with Claire! Wouldn't you know it! So, I have kinda started from scratch with her. I love homeschooling. The schedule is perfect and I get to go on all the field trips! We try to have lots of fun while learning too. The kids really retain more of the information if they enjoy the process of learning it.

I have been married to Chris for 12 years now. We met while attending Texas Tech. Go Red Raiders! I like to scrapbook (when I can find the time) and I am a big bargain hunter. I also love to plan parties. I'll have to post some of my party ideas soon!
