Winter Weather

We've had some nasty winter weather the past couple of days. We are in Texas so we don't get any fluffy snow, just ice & fog!

Here are some pictures.

This is the highway behind our house. Notice the traffic is at a standstill...yet another accident. The fog was actually lifting at this point. About an hour before I took this picture it was so bad I could barely see the cars. They are much clearer and easier to see here although you still can't see the southbound side of the road.

As you can see on this tree, we had frozen fog. It looks like it even froze onto a spider web on the tree.

This is the view of our street from my driveway. There is actually another street that crosses this one at the end, but you can't see it!

These are my mums in a pot by my front door. They were coming back to life before the storm. Don't know what all the ice is going to do to them.

The cat ran out while I was taking pictures. She's been going a little stir crazy in the house! She just could not figure out the ice. She ran back in about 30 seconds later!
