Our Flag

A woman who works in Kindred Hospital in Mansfield, TX was told she had to remove her American flag from the wall behind her desk. Apparantly, another co worker found it offensive! Here is the link to the local news story.

Ok, here's my 2 cents (directed to anyone who might be offended by our flag.)...

You live in America. The flag is not offensive. It stands for liberty and freedom and lots of blood has been shed to keep it flying proudly for this long. If you are offended by it, leave!

Now the hospital is rethinking the whole flag thing because so many people have complained, and are picketing them. I think they let the lady put it back up. Lots of bad press for them locally! The oddest thing is they have a flag flying outside the hospital! I know I'm not the only one who thinks this is insane! It is just sickening that this kind of thing happens today.

So this is my thought for this Thursday...
God Bless the USA!
