Wordful Wednesday

This last weekend we took a little family trip with Chris' family. We stayed at a great cabin near Lake LBJ in central Texas. It was perfect!

It had an awesome, well equipped kitchen. And I just loved the rustic bar counter tops!

It also had a great deck that we found ourselves on every night.

Just down the road was a winery so we went down there one day for a wine tasting.

There were lots of hiking trails all around the cabin.

The upstairs had a loft with a pool table and poker table in it. It also had 3 couches and 2 beds. It was a great sleeping place for all the kids.

They had washers and horseshoes out by the pool.

It was private with a nice view.

Did I mention the incredible pool? It was too chilly for some of us to get in. Some did swim though. But we all enjoyed the hot tub!

They also had an awesome outdoor kitchen. I want one of these!!

It was nice to get away for the weekend. I hope we can do it again next year!
