Wildflowers!

The kids are starting to finish up with some of their subjects now.  That left us with some time today so we went to the park.  Spring is wild flower season in Texas so I took lots of pictures!
You can't speak of wildflowers and Texas without showing pictures of bluebonnets...

Even though we are quite proud of our bluebonnets, we do have other flowers here!

I made my kids pose for a picture in the bluebonnets.  They weren't happy about it!

But I made them do it anyway because this is the last picture I have of them in the bluebonnets!!
(Same park, same patch too!)

I guess I never got around to taking them back out for pictures in the last 9 years!!  That falls into the category of "meant to do, but never did."  That list just keeps growing!

I linked up with Deb Duty Photography today.

I can't wait until the spring flowers arrive in my area. Your photos remind me of what's to come, I just have to be patient. Thanks for the share

So pretty! I hope we get to see some (and get some photos) next week when we visit TX for Ester! :)
