Crazy Week!!

I probably won't be blogging much this week.  How is that different from last week you may ask!

I would like to give a little update...Claire and I won the Peeps diorama contest!!  We are so excited.  Thanks to those who voted for us!  We won a prize pack from Just Born, the creator of Peeps.  We haven't gotten it yet though so I'm not even sure what all is in it. :)

We are in the middle of a jam-packed month of activities.  There is actually only 2 days on my calendar this month that don't have somthing written on them!

We have baseball games and practices, gymnastics and a gymnastics meet, a ladies luncheon, bunco, volunteer hours for my son,  art classes, field trips, reteats, you name it...it seems to be on my calendar!

This time of year is always so busy.  I'm so glad that we are finishing up with school.  Nathan is almost completely finished and Claire has a couple of subjects left, but will finish them up in the next week or two.

I will be back next week to post about the ladies luncheon.  It's a fund raiser for our Knights of Columbus.  You sponsor a themed table...its a lot of fun and Claire has asked if she could do one this year too so we are sponsoring 2 themed tables and having lots of fun with them!  I'll be back next week with photos!

Wildflowers!

The kids are starting to finish up with some of their subjects now.  That left us with some time today so we went to the park.  Spring is wild flower season in Texas so I took lots of pictures!

You can't speak of wildflowers and Texas without showing pictures of bluebonnets...

Even though we are quite proud of our bluebonnets, we do have other flowers here!

I made my kids pose for a picture in the bluebonnets.  They weren't happy about it!

But I made them do it anyway because this is the last picture I have of them in the bluebonnets!!

I guess I never got around to taking them back out for pictures in the last 9 years!!  That falls into the category of "meant to do, but never did."  That list just keeps growing!

Backyard Fun!

We've really been enjoying the nice weather here in Texas. 

The kids have been spending a lot of time outside.  We have a great backyard at this house.

The kids aren't the only ones who spend a lot of time outside!

Spring!

We are crazy busy around here with baseball season and gymnastic meets and finishing up school and so on.  I'm trying to keep up with my blog, but I never seem to have enough hours in my day anymore!

I did find the time to go out to the backyard and snap a couple pictures of our blooming flowers this morning though.  They are so pretty.  The wisteria is all along our fence and its very pretty to look at.
