Homeschool Talk: Columbus Day

My kids are rather disappointed that we are not taking Columbus Day off from school! We asked my son on the way to lunch today when Columbus sailed the ocean blue. His response? 1942! So, not only are we not taking the day off, we are doing an extra lesson on Columbus!
