I'm participating in a new meme today...Mama Guilt Monday hosted by Cop Mama . I read about it on Amy's blog, Keeping up with the Schultz Family today and thought I'd join in.
Here is what Cop Mama says: Why talk about Mama Guilt, you ask? Because I think it’s good to share so we know we’re not alone. We all struggle in this wonderful, chaotic, ever challenging thing called motherhood!
My mama guilt for this week happened last night. My daughter wanted me to join her in a singing and dancing program she was putting on. Now, this is not a real program, just her singing along to a tape! Well, I wanted to watch the olympics and I don't ever sing when anyone can hear me so I told her no. She pouted for a long time and went to bed mad. I felt guilty, but sometimes I just need a break from all the pretend!
Do you have a Mama guilt story to share today? If so visit Cop Mama and link up!

Oh I totally understand this one. I have to take the t.v. away sometimes. Like I let my little one watch a movie in the A.m. sometimes after that she wants more. I tell her no it is Mom's turn. What guilt. I am glad you played along.. Have a great day. Thanks for your kind words.
Oh yes, I have been there. It's hard, isn't it?!
I know, my 3 year old wants me to chase him around all the time!!!
Thanks for linking up! Nice to meet you :-)
kids come with built in guilt trip abilities, i think. Aimee, it is good to be assertive that Mum needs 5 minutes of 'me time' sometimes. You go, girl!
