Postcard Friendship Friday #72

In honor of Mother's Day this weekend here is a post card of Mary Cassatt's "In the Omnibus".

I got this at the Amon Carter museum in Fort Worth. I've always loved Cassatt. She has wonderful paintings of mothers and children.

Postcard Friendship Friday is hosted by Beth at the Best Hearts are Crunchy.

I don't know Mary Cassatt but I must look out for more of her work. It's beautiful!

I'll echo Sheila comment. I can just imagine that child have layers of clothing.

I love Mary Cassatt also. One of the few women impressionists and an American! A woman definitely before her time. Wonderful card! Happy PFF!
