Chef Nathan

Last night at dinner Nathan proclaimed he was hungry for a big chocolate chip cookie. My husband and I both said, "well, make one!" So after dinner I gave him a recipe and told him to go to work. Of course, Claire wanted to help. They pretty much did everything on their own. The cookies were very yummy too! We had them warm out of the oven with chocolate chip ice cream on top. (Blue Bell, of course!) Here are some pics of the kids hard at work. Nathan decided he liked eating cookies much more than making them! (I think he gets that from his dad!!)

Those look so good! Really you need to move closer to us so when your kids make big cookies we can come over for dessert then you come over for Friday night drinks!

We enjoyed lunch today! Madeline is taking a much needed long nap.

Those cookies look delicious! I loved you and your hubby's attitude---well, make one!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Our families seem similar---we also eat dinner together every night, we have a son and a daughter, but... we have to have our cable!;)

It's always fun to see kids in the kitchen. And they learn so much that way! Don't know about you, but cookies will motivate me to do almost anything, lol!
