Here's a little writing exercise that might be good for any kids out there that don't really care for writing.
My son does not like to write. He complains everytime he has to write anything! Today's writing assignment got no complaints from him, though. He had to write funny epitaphs for imaginary people that the book gave him. He loves to kill people off in his stories and such so this was right up his alley! Here are a few that he did. I helped him with the last one because he was having trouble saying what he wanted to say and still making it rhyme, but the other two he did all on his own.
Here lies Ebenezer
Who, in his lungs, grew mold.
He became a sneezer,
And he finally died of a cold.
Here lies Abel Brown
who always fell down.
One day into a hole he fell,
And now he has no tale to tell.
Here lies Ira Jones
Who loved to talk on phones.
Once he gave to much information
Now he's on an eternal vacation.

He did a wonderful job. I bet you are so proud.
Cute! It has to be a 'boy thing', cause my son hates-scratch that-LOATHES to write. Smiles and Blessings
