My grandparents went to Las Vegas in the early 80s, I think. Sorry, I was really little and can't remember the year! The back of the postcard says copyright 1980. This is a postcard they sent to me. I've never been to Vegas, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't look like this anymore!

I've never been to Las Vegas either (I live far away in Canada) but I watch CSI Las Vegas every week so I feel like I know the place (or at least the seedy underside!).
If you want to see the opposite of Las Vegas' climate visit my site today!
Evelyn in Montreal
Rich Little? Suzanne Somers? Darn, I missed it!
I am seriously curious about Vegas! I really want to go before I start pushing up Daisies:) I want to get married by Elvis just for the heck of it! Happy Pff!
I've never been to Las Vegas either and nor, I'm afraid, am I ever likely to. The few pictures I've seen look very different from this, so a great one to treasure.
I've not been there either - and probably won't be goin, but I love the vintage look of the postcard. Suzanne Sommers ( at the risk of sounding like a fan - which I'm not) won Entertainer of the Year award for her performace at the MGM Grand in 1984 - so early 80's it was. I have to appologize to Rich Little. I thought the poor guy was dead.
For me, little french, this landscape of Las Vegas in thi postcard is a dream for us in the old continent.
Thank you, and Happy PFF.
I've never been there but I like the cards from there. Always thought it would be fun to go there and collect all the postcards I could find there instead of wasting money gambling.
What a great post card. I was suppose to be in Vegas this weekend. My niece is getting married and that is where the party is this weekend. I am at home with my family. Which is totally fine. I will be there for the wedding. Thanks for coming by and following my little blog. Hope to see you again.
Have a great weekend.
Rich Little and Suzanne Sommers at the MGM. Now that takes me back! Let's see I had my last child in 1984. That was the year I slept the summer away...overwhelmed by 4 young kiddos. I have no cultural awareness of those years. LOL I can tell you about the diapers and scrapes and the general mayhem of our home in those years though! Thanks for the memories. Pretty card. Nice memory from your grandparents.
Ahhh... Sin City! How nice to have a small treasure from your Grandparents...
