Today's postcard is the last from our mission tour in San Antonio last fall. This one is, of course, the Alamo.

This was a model of the Alamo grounds from 1836.You can see only a small part exists today as the Alamo.

The inside of the chapel was really interesting to me. The size was surprising. Your post made me wonder where I put the postcards I bought when I was there.....hmmmm....
The Alamo always makes me think of Davy Crockett.

Love the pictures. Was it just me or when you visited the Alamo did you feel like it was way to small! It took me awhile to picture how it must have looked without all the highrises surrounding it:)
Historic trips are the best! I would love to visit the Alamo.
