Postcard Friendship Friday #24

Welcome to another Postcard Friendship Friday hosted by Marie at Cpaphil Vintage Postcards . Stop by her site to join in or see other postcards.

This is a postcard of a painting. I got it at the Stark Museum of Art in Orange, TX. The painting is Mount Saint Helens Erupting, 1847, by Paul Kane.

I bought it because there was just something about the painting that I liked! I really like the layers of depth in it. I wish I could paint like that!

I do the same thing ... buy postcards of things I want to remember. Beautiful painting. I can see why I you picked this one.

I wish I could paint like that too. My stick figures are just not all that impressive! PS. I did the Mondrian project with my boys too. They loved it of course!
