Today we went to the store and there was a bag blowing in the parking lot. Nathan kicked it under a car and said "I bet it won't be there when we come out." {no one bet him} Then he added, "it just blew away! I win!" Claire said "No you don't, no one was competioning!"
We had a good laugh before I explained that the word is competing, not competioning!
Life is like an amusement park... exciting, exhausting, and never ever boring!

My little granddaughter, the Panda, is constantly making up her own words... there are so many of them.. we've finally given up correcting her... we just accept that napkins are "nakpuns" and squash is "posk"... kids are funny aren't they... ;)
Naomi calls dessert "serviette". Kids are great with their language. And you know what? Every time she learns the correct way to say something, I miss hearing the cute attempts she tried before that. I try to file them all away in my head.
Kids say such funny things. It is good to write it down...so you don't ever forget the times you laughed so carefree with each other.
