Today's Task

Every year when school gets out it gives me the opportunity to do some deep cleaning around the house. I started today with the refrigerator. I forgot to take a picture of it before I took everything off of it, but here is all of the stuff that was on it. (Well, not the coffee maker, but everything else!)

But I do have kids so this is the best I could do!

We kept our bottles of liquor on the top of the refrigerator. I wanted to move them so I also ended up cleaning out my corner curio cabinets in the kitchen so I could put them in there, which then made me clean out my small applicance cabinet so I could move some of the stuff from the curios to it! So, I've gotten lots of cleaning and organizing done today. There is still lots to do though!

I also vaccuumed the house with the help of my newest friend, Dyson...

I ordered it a few weeks ago. It came in yesterday. It is a little heavy, but it has amazing suction! Just look at everything in the canister...ewww! That was on my floor! I blame the cat for a lot of it. She's shedding so half of that is cat hair! My old vaccuum just wasn't picking stuff up anymore. (As you can tell from all of the junk in the canister!) This thing is amazing. I feel like my floors are much cleaner after I vaccuum now. And the cat has decided to spend most of the day out of the house so that should help too!
