Friday's Bargain Shopping Trip

I've always been a coupon clipper and bargain hunter. I just love getting good deals on things, but I've been really busy lately. I haven't been able to sit down with all the ads and coupons and figure out where to go to get stuff for next to nothing. I have been following 2 blogs though that really make the process easier. A big thanks to Money Saving Mom and Coupon Cravings! Thanks to their blogs, I printed some coupons and headed off to Target! (I don't usually do a lot of shopping at Target. I had no idea I could save this much there!)

Ok, here is what I got...

The total before coupons came to $29.15. After coupons...12.71!

Now, that is good but there's more! I also mailed in a $3 rebate for the Lysol products so that makes the total $9.71. AND....

I got a $5 target gift card (for a future purchase) for buying 4 Fiber one products. If you consider the gift card it was really like paying $4.71 for all that!

I also just bought a Dyson vaccuum cleaner from Target. They offered free shipping on the one I wanted so I ordered it online through ebates. Going through ebates gets me 4% cash back. And, I get another 1% cash back from the credit card I used. I also got to apply a $5 coupon offer to the order. Since Target had them on sale for $100 off and I am in desperate need of a new vaccuum cleaner, I was really happy with this deal too!

Did you have any trouble with Target taking the printed coupons? Kroger and Albertson's won't take them anymore and my experience with Target has been that it depends on the cashier.

Lisa, I had no problem with Target, but I had a problem with Wal Mart. I always seem to have a problem with walmart, coupons or not!
