Postcard Friendship Friday #7

This is the one and only postcard we could find of Orange, TX. Orange is a little bitty town just near the Louisiana Border. We went there a few years ago to go on a swamp tour. (that was a lot of fun, lots of alligators!)

My son wanted to send a postcard to one of his friends, but we couldn't find one anywhere. We finally happened upon their visitor's center and they had this postcard. They gave us several. I don't think they have much of a demand for them! They were excited that we actually wanted them! As you can see from the postcard, there's not a lot of exciting stuff here. They should really print up some postcards with alligators on them!

It's surprising when people don't make the most of what they could produce by way of postcards. I've noticed that in other small places. It's not as though postcards have a limited shelf life, so they don't have to sell them all quickly.

Big coincidence, I visited Orange in France this week! Plenty of postcards there. :)
