I got this postcard a few years ago on one of our best vacations ever! We started out in Anaheim and went to Disneyland for a couple of days. Then, we drove up to Concord. Concord is near Oakland & San Francisco. My husband had to go there for business. California is a beautiful state, especially the northern part! The entire drive was beautiful, no matter where we were we were enjoying the view!

I LOVE California! The main thing that I miss is the divine sourdough bread that's famous in the North:) My Grandma had 12 children which means that there are a lotttt of cousins! My Grandma used to keep loaves and loaves of sourdough bread on top of the fridge! We would all huddle and make up ways to distract Grandma so that one of us could grab a chair to climb up and nick a loaf. We would then all run and share our spoils! We were bread pirates:)

My Mom was born in California ,and I have cousins scattered all over the state,but I have not been to see them in years.
